Storm Guard Cares: Team Donates $5,000 And Volunteers At Tarrant Area Food Bank To Combat Hunger In The Community

[Fort Worth, TX] — [Nov. 13, 2024] — Storm Guard Roofing and Construction, a national leader in commercial and residential exterior restoration, reinforces its dedication to community support through its Storm Guard Cares program. Recently, the team organized a volunteer day and donated $5,000 to the Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB), contributing to the fight against hunger and extending a helping hand to those in need.

TAFB serves over one million meals weekly to families in need across 13 counties, partnering with hundreds of local nonprofits to address food insecurity. This support is especially vital in a community where one in six individuals face food insecurity.

At the Tarrant Area Food Bank, 15 Storm Guard employees worked alongside other volunteers to sort and package food items, ensuring that nutritious meals reach vulnerable individuals and families quickly. Their donation will go further in helping TAFB meet ongoing demand and sustain vital programs that support food access, nutrition education, and outreach.
